Captain George Trikollos ΗN

Deputy Commander of the Hellenic Navy’s Non Commissioned Officers Academy

Captain George Trikollos was admitted to the Hellenic Naval Academy in 1989, from which he graduated as an Ensign in 1993.

He has served in Frigates and Gunboats of the Hellenic Fleet and as a Commanding Officer of HS Nikiforos Gunboat.

He has also served in the Hellenic Navy General Staff at the (C2) Logistics Directorate of the General Staff and the Bureau of Bilateral Agreements of the Education Directorate of the Hellenic Defence General Staff. He has also served at Fleet Headquarters (AS) as a staff officer. He has served as a Director of the Personnel Branch in the Navy Logistic Support and Deputy Commander of the Hellenic Lighthouse Service.

Other positions include his service as a staff officer in Training Center Palaskas, Naval Base Kanellopoulos, the Hellenic Naval War College, as well as a military adviser to the Greece delegation to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE).

On July 12, 2024, he assumed the duties of Deputy Commander of the Noncommissioned Officers Academy of the Hellenic Navy.

He has received a specialization in Navigation and has successfully attended all the career schools of the Hellenic Navy for his rank (Supreme Joint War College and Naval War College of Greece). In addition, he is a graduate of the Naval Command College of US Navy (equivalent to the Hellenic National Defence College).

He has a Masters Degree in “Applied Strategy and International Security” from University of Plymouth.

It holds all the appropriate metals, decorations and commemorations of the Greek Armed Forces for his rank.

He speaks English.

He has a 21 -year -old daughter and an 18 -year -old son.
